Campaign creative needs a useful structure
A campaign is easier to review when its creative assets, landing pages and intended audience tell a coherent story.
A campaign is easier to review when its creative assets, landing pages and intended audience tell a coherent story. This is a design and organisation problem as well as a marketing problem.
Begin with the message
Write down the central idea and the action the landing page supports. Review whether the image, headline and page content express the same idea. A visitor should not need to reinterpret the promise after following the link.
Organise the assets
Give files and variations meaningful names. Keep a record of the context in which each asset belongs, including the audience question it addresses. A clear structure makes review and replacement easier without depending on one person's memory.
Read the experience as a whole
Review the journey from the first message to the page and its next action. Look for gaps in explanation and differences in language. Treat reporting as a prompt for investigation, then make focused changes whose purpose can be explained. This keeps creative decisions connected to the experience a person actually encounters.
